Artifacts:
This wiki site which highlights a collaborative project for an English class demonstrates all four of the indicators listed under Standard 1. It requires creative and innovative thinking skills, engages students in solving problems, utilizes digital tools and resources and allows for students to engage in a meta-cognitive analysis of how they personally functioned in the virtual environment and also how they interacted with each other.
This site addresses indicator 1.1 and has an advanced art lesson that involves a tremendous amount of creative thinking and utilizes the scanner and Photoshop.

This paper presents a brief survey of tools which were tested for collaborative knowledge construction. The aim of the tests was to find out what users expect from such tools and how they should evolve in the future.
